Cornish Pilot Gig Junior Sprint Regatta 2017

On a very, very hot sunny day our Junior Under 16 crew raced in the inaugural Cornish Pilot Gig Junior Sprint Regatta with a backdrop of warships within Portsmouth Harbour. Our lads rowed strongly and got into the final, finishing in 2nd place. The event was attended by Langstone, Rame, Bridport, Swanage and Portland Gig Clubs and proved to be a great success and enjoyed by all. Thanks to Langstone Cutters Gig Club and the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Rowing Association for organising and hosting a fantastic event.
