Bristol 2017

This was the first time that Portland had attended this sprint event which is held within Bristol Docks close to the SS Great Britain. We entered a ladies and a men’s team. The men were up first, racing against Clifton. They had a stonking first race which, when the other teams heats had been completed, had put them through to compete for overall 3rd/4th positions. Our ladies then had a hard row unfortunately being beaten in their heat. The men finished 4th overall out of 10 and the ladies 7th out of 8. Thanks to Bristol for a great day out.
