Bridport Regatta

Bridport Regatta went ahead on the 16th of July, a very hot sunny day with only a light breeze, having been postponed from a very windy 2nd of July. Seven Jurassic League clubs attended. Due to the rescheduled event, individual’s other commitments and illness, PGRC was represented by only five ladies and six Supervet men. We entered the ladies and men’s A, ladies and men’s Vets and the mixed races. Although our crews powered hard and strong, the lack of numbers, the heat and Pulpit Rock letting in some water always kept us towards the back or the pack. However, all enjoyed the racing and the day. Thankyou Bridport Gig Club for a well organised and enjoyable event.
