Sidmouth Regatta 2019

Sidmouth provided a flat sea and fine weather for crews from Sidmouth, Combwich, Bridport, Lyme Regis, Weymouth, Swanage, Langstone, Exmouth, Poole and Portland to race a triangular course along the sea front.

Portland crews rowed strongly in our gig ‘Pulpit Rock’ with the men’s Vets achieving our best result of the day with a 3rd. With only six of our ladies available on the day, they all rowed at least three races, well done to them. Unfortunately Portland dropped one position in the Jurassic Regional Gig Rowing League to 7th.
