Jurassic Junior Regatta 2016

Seven Juniors Members represented Portland Gig Rowing Club at the Jurassic Junior Gig Regatta organised and hosted by Lyme Regis Gig Club. Over 60 Junior rowers from Lyme Regis, Swanage, Bridport, Teignmouth, Langstone and Weymouth participated in barbarian style races along Lyme Regis seafront.  It was a wonderful sunny day with a decreasing north easterly wind providing good conditions for racing and spectating.
